The Beauty of Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a holiday that is celebrated in many countries throughout the world. The tradition of Thanksgiving began for many as the opportunity to give thanks for the seasons harvest and for the blessings of the year. For us in the United States, we celebrate Thanksgiving the fourth Thursday each November, which happens to be this week.

I asked the team here at Iron Valley Real Estate to give me three things they are thankful for. If there is one thing I can take away from this exercise, it is that with all our different personalities, beliefs, views, and lives we all agreed that these three things are what we are most thankful for:

We are all thankful for the relationships in our lives. We are thankful for our significant others and the support and love we receive and give to each other. We are thankful for our families, the community we have created, grown, and nurtured regardless of blood. We are thankful for our partnership with our owners, agents, clients, and vendors, and for the trust they put in us every day. We are thankful for each other, for the different talents, abilities, and experiences we all bring, that make Iron Valley an amazing place to work, do business with, or become the entrepreneur you have always dreamed of being.

Health & Wellness

We are all thankful for our bodies and minds. We appreciate what our bodies allow us to do, from simply walking every day, all the way to pushing the limits with ultra-running, or motorcycle racing. We are thankful for the abilities we have been blessed with and the opportunities to further our knowledge and understanding through education.

Living Out Our Passions

We are all thankful that the work we do each day fulfills our individual passions. We have all traveled different paths to arrive where we are today. We have each persevered through our own trials and tribulations in the pursuit of what sets our souls on fire. With each day, we are appreciative that we live, work, and share our passions with others.

Writing this piece reminded me that the beauty of Thanksgiving lies in our ability to be self-reflective. To piece together how the differences and adversity in our lives creates growth. Then recognizing that growth generates change which leads to our own personal harvest.

Happy Thanksgiving from the Iron Valley Real Estate family!!!!
